The various processes, products, services, and state-of-the-art technologies for mining development, are all represented in the exhibition areas of EXPOMIN 2010.   Attendances which have already been confirmed, include: Loading and transport equipment, support equipment, and supplies for the processing of minerals.
With more than 5 000 brands from 35 countries, EXPOMIN will host more than 1 200 companies representing the major suppliers of all the mining specialties.
The number of national exhibitors alone adds up to more than 960.  Also, representatives of foreign companies have already confirmed their presence. All together, they comprise the exhibition’s functional area of 50 000 m2. (Dice 60 000 en Nota Carlos Parada)
Against this backdrop, EXPOMIN 2010 continues its leadership in mining fairs on a global scale, and remains an excellent and unique showcase; which will feature the new technologies, goods, supplies, and services.
The presence of exhibitors from over 35 countries is especially noteworthy.  It allows visitors to access the broadest range of offered technologies, as well as supplies and services at each stage of the value scale in the production of minerals and metals.

Outstanding Mining Specialties

To date, three outstanding segments of the industry are represented in 80% of the exhibition area.  Another mentionable fact is that 80% of exhibitors have already confirmed their spaces and participation.
In first place, occupying 52% of the allotted exhibition area, we have the exhibitors presenting General Equipment and Supplies.  This category covers products and services that stand out for the diversity and also for their specific use to their respective specialties.  These products do not fall under the typical categories of the mining process.  This highlights the constant development of technologies and services that have increasingly greater specificity in the mining world.

In second place, with 38% of allotted exhibition space, we showcase the Equipment and Supplies for Mineral Processing, where exhibitors present their crushers, mills, flotation cells, reagent chemicals, piping for leaching solutions, equipment parts for the smelting process, and gases.
In third place, we have the Mining Process Support Teams, with 31% of the allotted exhibition area.  Equipment and products presented include fans for underground mining, compressors, motors, cranes, lifting and mounting systems, parts and accessories, welding equipment, keypad controls, pickup trucks, campsite systems, and safety and security systems.

• In addition to these three major specialties, we also have the Equipment and Supplies for Loading and Transport segment of the industry represented, with 20% of the allotted exhibition area.  These showcase mining trucks, front loaders, shovels and support trucks, along with the suppliers of tires and conveyor belts.
