Less than a year before its next edition, Expomin 2027 will have a presence at Exponor 2026, which will take place from June 8 to 11 in the city of Antofagasta. Expomin will participate in the international trade fair through its booth 900, located in the Lithium Pavilion, where the organizing team will unveil the main highlights of the event to be held from April 20 to 24, 2027, at Espacio Riesco, Santiago.
The presence at Exponor is part of Expomin’s international networking and promotion efforts, an event that will bring together supplier companies, mining companies, government representatives, research centers, and key players in the global mining ecosystem. The next edition will feature the European Union as a special guest, strengthening cooperation, innovation, and technological development between Chile and the countries of the bloc.
During the four days of Exponor, attendees can visit the Expomin booth to learn details about the international exhibition and congress, as well as participation opportunities for companies, organizations, and institutions interested in being part of the region’s leading mining event.
FISA’s General Manager, Carola Fuentes, highlighted the importance of participating in this event held in Chile’s mining capital. “Exponor is a strategic space to meet with key industry players, share the vision for Expomin 2027, and continue building an agenda that promotes innovation, sustainability, and development in the mining sector. Expomin 2027 will seek to consolidate its position as the leading meeting point for mining in Latin America, promoting the exchange of knowledge, the incorporation of new technologies, and the generation of business opportunities in a context marked by the challenges of the energy transition and sustainable development.
A Historic Edition
Over the years, Expomin has established itself as a hub for the global mining industry. Expomin 2025 alone brought together a record 83,498 visitors, more than 1,300 companies from 35 countries, and generated business projections exceeding US$1.6 billion. And the next edition is expected to be even bigger. All of this comes at a pivotal moment for the Chilean mining sector.
