This year, Expomin 2025 opens its doors to families with an unprecedented initiative: Citizen Day. As part of this activity, designed to connect citizens with the national mining industry, the endearing character Mi Perro Chocolo will perform on the stage of Agora 1 with his show “Cantando aprendo a hablar”. The show is scheduled from 12:00 to 13:00 and promises to be an educational, playful and musical experience for children and their families. But that’s not all: the day will be full of activities designed for the whole family. Early in the morning, the orchestra “Vibra Clásica” will open the day with a special concert at Agora 1. During the morning there will be two Storytelling sessions, while in other areas of the site, the Pabellón Minero and the different stands will offer interactive and informative experiences. Among them is Minverso, an immersive virtual reality experience that will allow attendees to see what it is like to work in a mine from the inside. The Citizen Day will take place between 10:00 and 14:00 at Espacio Riesco, with tickets available for $5,000 CLP. A unique opportunity for children and adults to discover and learn about the world of mining in a different way.
